Relationship Therapy In-Person and Online

At The Mindful Practice, we believe that a meaningful and true connection is at the core of each working and healthy relationship, whether it's between partners, friends, colleagues, or family members. We work relationally, which means that we value the importance of all interpersonal relationships in life.

Sometimes, relationships can become challenged and the contact between the people involved feels weakened or unsupported. We offer counselling and psychotherapy for couples and families, who have got to at a point where they feel stuck and want help with the way they relate to each other.

Understanding and Changing Unhelpful Patterns

Through couple's therapy, you will be able to gain a deeper understanding of your relationship and any unhelpful patterns you may have gotten into individually or as a couple. You will be guided and supported to work on areas of your relationship where either one of you or both may feel stuck.

Alongside that we will help you identify areas of your relationship that work well and that you might want to expand on as a couple.

Sometimes relationships come to an end and therapy can help to navigate that ending and the transition into the new way of being and relating to each other. This is especially useful if you have children and other shared commitments together.

Whether your relationship grows stronger or comes to an end, our therapists are here to guide you towards the most natural and beneficial outcome for your unique situation. Through a supportive and expertly led therapeutic process, you will have the opportunity to change, heal, and grow.
