Felicity Hogg

Psychotherapist

I am a qualified psychotherapist with a Master’s in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Having a therapeutic space where you can speak with a professional can often help make sense of difficulties, patterns of behaviour, and relationships, both past and present.

I provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults, with experience supporting clients through challenges such as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, and loss.

Using a psychodynamic approach, I work collaboratively with clients to explore unconscious patterns, early experiences, and emotions that shape their present struggles, fostering deeper self-awareness and lasting change.

Prior to this, I worked for 10 years as a social worker in an NHS setting, supporting adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds, including during my training in South Africa.

As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I have supported individuals experiencing complex mental health difficulties, including childhood trauma, depression, and substance misuse, through my work at two homeless charities. I have also worked in a secondary school, helping adolescents navigate a range of emotional and psychological challenges.

I offer a confidential, kind, and safe environment where you can speak openly and honestly, helping to get to the root of the problems you may be struggling with.

My goal is to help you gain insight and awareness about yourself, your relationships with others, and ultimately to cultivate a sense of purpose, well-being, and a better quality of life.
